This music documentary by acclaimed musician and author Ahmir “Questlove” Thompson reclaims the legacy of the six-week Harlem Cultural Festival. A series of free concerts held at Mount Morris Park (now Marcus Garvey Park) at the height of the Black power movement, the Harlem Cultural Festival was a joyous expression of Black pride and unity. Previously unseen footage includes performances by Steve Wonder, Nina Simone and Sly & the Family Stone. Light refreshments available. PG-13.
